Calos Cookies is a small, husband & wife owned business. John, a full time emergency and cardiac nurse, and wife Dorie, previously a birth doula, have 6 kids and live in Canton, CT. John began his magic in the kitchen at a young age, growing up in his family’s restaurant. It all began when John wanted to bring homemade cookies to his nursing school class- and the rest is history! Every school bake sale, teacher appreciation week, or soccer party Dorie signed him up for, people raved that these were the BEST cookies they’d ever tasted. After being asked countless times, John & Dorie began a cottage bakery out of their home and joined the Canton Main Street Farmer’s Market in Collinsville alongside Dorie’s dad, Dan Seger of Seger’s Sauces. The demand was SO big, they had to find a commercial kitchen! Dan joined them in opening a store in New Hartford, CT in December. Calos Cookies has tons of small batch cookies each week, all classic cookies with a creative twist! With layers of flavor, depth, and texture, even a classic chocolate chip cookie will wow you!  Look for 6-10 flavors John’s delicious cookies ready for grab and go in the store, or contact them for special orders.
